When reporting a Birth or Death what should we do?

In the case of birth, you must submit the birth registration form within 14 days of birth and acquire the Birth Registration Receipt from your local ward office. Please make sure to bring the Birth Certificate of the child (issued at hospital), Mother and Child Healthbook, and National Health Insurance Certificate (if you are under this health insurance program).
In the case of death, a family member of the deceased or a person who lived with the deceased must submit the death registration form within 7 days of learning of the death to the ward office.
